Inositol is a cyclic organic molecule with 6 carbon atoms, an essential component of phospholipids. Synthesized by the human body, it does not belong to the vitamin family. This molecule, which forms part of cell membranes, would appear to be highly effective in treating a number of ailments and pathologies.

Fertility: inositol has recently been the subject of numerous studies designed to highlight its mode of action in improving women's egg quality.

Mental illnesses: thanks to its interaction with the central nervous system and neurotransmitters, inositol is an effective effective treatment for certain mental illnesses. A double-blind study showed that 6g per day of myo-inositol was more effective than treatment with fluvoxamine (the basis of most antidepressants). Other trials carried out on bi-polar patients show a clear reduction in seizure episodes during treatment periods.

Premenstrual syndrome: a 2011 study showed that a daily dose of 2 g of inositol powder significantly improved dysphoria (menstrual pain), as well as mood disorders and depression associated with premenstrual syndrome.
