What's it all about?

The active substance in this bottle is pancreatin, a complex of enzymes in concentrated form (lipase, amylase and protease) with an additional contribution of lipase. These substances are important for food digestion. The fats, proteins and carbohydrates contained in food are broken down by these enzymes into components that can be used by the body. As a reminder, the pancreas is a digestive gland that produces enzymes essential for food digestion: lipase for sugar digestion, amylase for carbohydrate digestion, protease for protein digestion.

• Celiac disease (a disease in which gluten damages the intestinal tract; symptoms include abdominal pain, bloating, weight loss and fatigue).
• Supplements pancreatic function impairment due to a lack or defect of digestive enzymes, e.g. after acute inflammation of the pancreas, at the start of food intake, after surgery on the digestive system, or following chronic inflammation of the pancreas.

Recommended dosage :

1 capsule with each meal, just before or with the meal.

The Clark laboratory uses a vegetarian analog of pancreatin, i.e. this product is not of animal origin.

This product is suitable for both human and animal supplementation such as dogs and cats.

Digestive enzymes are packaged in gastro-resistant capsules, to prevent the acidic environment in the stomach from damaging the enzymes before they can have their effect in the intestine.
