What's it all about?
Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the blood, and a remarkable energy supplier for intestinal and immune cells.
Glutamine deficiency is often associated with sleep problems, restlessness and lack of concentration. Glutamine soothes stress, promotes serenity and facilitates rest.
Several studies have demonstrated the link between a diet rich in glutamine and beneficial effects on the intestine. Glutamine plays a role in enterocytes (intestinal cells), for which it is the primary source of energy. It is a constituent of the tight junctions of the digestive epithelium. It helps preserve the impermeability of the intestinal barrier, thus preventing a number of disorders (irritable bowel or functional colopathy, allergies, skin problems, etc.). It improves digestion and reduces the risk of intestinal problems.
Recommended dosage
1 capsule per day (maintenance) to 3 X 2 capsules per day (in situations of intestinal epithelial aggression, intestinal permeability), or as recommended.
