What is Co-Enzyme Q-10?
In its pure form, Co-Q10 is a tasteless, odorless, yellow-orange crystalline powder. It is partially absorbed with our food, but is also produced in the body itself. Co-Q10 is naturally present in all human cells and ensures the body's energy production.
The energy supplied by food is transformed into body energy in the mitochondria, with the help of Co-Q10. Only after this transformation can the energy contained in food be used by the human body.
95% of all the body's energy requirements are transformed using Co-Q10. It's obvious, then, that the organs requiring the most energy - such as the heart, lungs and liver - also have the highest levels of Co-Q10.
Co-Q10 is very important for the human organism and cannot be replaced by any other substance.
The history of Co-Q10
Co-Q10 was discovered several decades ago. For many years now, this vital substance has been known and appreciated as an essential supplement.
British scientist Peter Mitchell was awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1978, following his discovery of the significant role played by Co-Q10 in energy production. Co-Q10 is involved in the respiratory chain, which produces energy that can be used by the cell in the form ofATP.
Recommended daily amount: 1 capsule a day or as recommended.
Please note: this product is additive-free and meets Clark's high quality standards. Additive-free production is more expensive than additive-based production and is often associated with manual labor. The motto of the Dr Clark Research Association (DCRA) is: "As far as possible (sometimes support is necessary), nothing more in the products than the active substance. The fewer components, the better".
